Sound Editing Project | Ladybird | Spring 2023

For a sound editing class project at Diablo Valley College, I was tasked with selecting a scene from a film, muting all original sound, and recreating the entire soundscape. This involved sourcing and recording a variety of audio elements to match the diverse settings and actions in the scene. I chose the final scene from Lady Bird (2:55 minutes) and completed the project using Audacity, with the goal of seamlessly integrating the newly recorded audio to match the original film's authentic sound.
